A committee has been appointed on the instructions of president Maithripala Sirisena to inquire into and ensure justice for professional media personnel who had been harassed during the period from January 2005 to January 2015.
The committee will grant compensation on account of injustice, harassment and loss of property etc.
The presidential secretariat will accept complaints, complete with all information, until June 15.
The complaints should be addressed to S.T. Kodikara, additional secretary, presidential secretariat, Colombo.
