Sharks seen in Manik river (Pics)

Department of Wildlife Conservation has observed two sharks in Manik river near Warahana area in Yala.

The two sharks were reportedly seen swimming specifically in an area covering 100m below the Warahana bridge.

Most are of the opinion that it is an exceptional sighting as the sharks are mostly seen in sea water.

Further inspections have proved that these sharks are not of the dangerous kind.

Speaker of Department of Wildlife Conservation stated that further data is being collected with regard to the particular incident and the specific breed of sharks.
