The minister has stated that due to the existing rule which prevents mothers from entering a school without wearing a saree, many working mothers are inconvenienced as they have to change attire on their way to work.
He has stated the above attending an event organized to offer scholarships to students, who performed exceptionally at the 2015 G.C.E Advanced Level examination, yesterday (08).
Furthermore, he has stated that doctors have pointed out that the pregnant mothers have faced number of difficulties as they are not allowed to wear a convenient dress to enter into the school.
Therefore, circulars will be issued taking these situations into consideration and principles, teachers, parents or students should not be unnecessarily troubled , the minister has added.
