This was revealed by Plantation Industries Minister Navin Dissanayake at a medical camp organized for pregnant mothers in Nuwara Eliya yesterday.

The minister further said that he was the Sports Minister at that time and the same group that conducted the horse races last year amidst many malpractices had been allowed to hold this year's race as well.
