Researcher Dr. Keerthi Mohotti, who is the director of the Tea Research Institute in Talawakele, said this was the outcome of his research in chemical and organic tea cultivation.

Agrichemicals are having an adverse impact on reproductive health, resistance to diseases and the development of normal body cells, he added.
