Prasanna died died following a clash with the Embilipitiya police.

The order was made after President’s Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya, who appeared on behalf of the victim, requested that a post-mortem be performed once again in order to further clarify the verdict given in the previous JMO report.

The Magistrate had also ordered the police to provide security to the cemetery in which the man was buried, reporter added.

Meanwhile, former ASP of Embilipitiya police division, D.W.C. Dharmaratne, who was arrested in connect to the incident, has been further remanded until 10 March.
