The call was made by Lanka Private Bus Association president Gemunu Wijeratne, as reported by the media on 03 October 2013.

Instead of implementing the joint time table with the CTB, private buses should be brought under the ministry control, said the bus employees union.

The joint time table will ruin the CTB, it adds.
