These complaints relate to the non-payment for the presidential election propaganda advertisements broadcast over ITN, Rakna Lanka and SriLankan Airlines.
A few months ago, the commission handed over to the president the final investigation reports into the misuse of funds allotted for the Negombo lagoon development and the misuse of state-land in Mahiyangana.
Probe into 40 major frauds
De Silva said the commission was presently looking into around 40 major frauds at Lanka Sathosa, Coconut Development Board and other state institutions.
Once the final investigation reports are presented to the president and the bribery commission, the accused can be prosecuted at courts, he said.
Summons by the FCID
Meanwhile, the FCID is expected to summon in the coming weeks more than 10 leading politicians of the Rajapaksa regime and their businessmen cronies who had together got involved in various rackets, reports say.
The FCID has seen an improvement in both its performance and the number of complaints it receives, after the president gave it more powers.
