Speaking to 'BBC Sandeshaya' he also said that details of activists working with regard to disappeared persons, are also being sought.
Fernando said activists of his collective faced such incidents when collecting data on the families of the disappeared in the areas of Batticaloa, Ampara and Moneragala.
Inquiries :
Speaking further, Fernando has said that certain individuals in civvies claiming to be policemen had made inquiries over meetings of the 'Families of the Disappeared' collective, places where they meet and who attends these meetings. Inquiries are also made over telephone, he added.
In this backdrop, a Tamil activist has become alarmed. he added.
Complaints
Minister of National Coexistence Dialogue and Official Languages - Mano Ganesan said that he too, has received complaints on this regard,
He said that the Prime minister, relevant ministers, defence secretary and top brass of security forces have been informed of this.
A discussion on this regard is to be held next week, with the attendance of minister of Law and Order - Sagala Ratnayake, State minister of defence - Ruwan Wijewardene, defence secretary - Karunasena Hettiarachchi as well as the DIGs of North and East.
