Maithri, not unrighteous to throw us out - Welgama Featured

Former minister - Kumara Welgama says that President Maithripala Sirisena is not that unrighteous as to throw out those in the joint opposition, including himself.

Noting that he was a senior SLFP member who had worked as an organiser for 34 years.

He adds that those who had purely dedicated themselves for the party are now absent.

The former minister was responding to reports which cited that the SLFP CC was convening to expel several SLFPers who are aligning as the joint opposition.

He added that he will take a necessary decision as a democratic individual if he is expelled.

Special decisions
Several special decisions are to be taken at the SLFP CC meeting which will convene today afternoon.
