The Thera was brought in a prisons bus, escorted by specially trained prisons officials.

Security has been beefed up in the area surrounding the court premises with extra police contingents and the STF on the alert.

Meanwhile, it is said that several other suspects who face charges of conducting themselves in a violent manner at the Homagama Magistrate court premises are to be produced before the court today.
