Yoshitha's misdealings revealed through emails Featured

The investigations conducted by Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) have revealed that a bus owned by Carlton Sports Network (CSN), which worth Rs 90 million, has been released by Sri Lanka Customs under Yoshitha Rajapaksa's name during the rule of previous regime.

It has also been identified that despite the actual value of the bus being Rs 90 million it has been released by submitting a forged invoice claiming the vehicle to be Rs 40 million.

The bus which consists of TV broadcast equipment was discovered as it was hidden in a storage facility located in Narahenpita.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa's name has been included in its invoice as the President of CSN.

FCID has inspected nearly 12,000 emails in order to verify that Yoshitha Rajapaksa is the President of CSN. Majority of them have confirmed that the former President's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa is the President of CSN.

The emails of CSN has revealed that Yoshita Rajapaksa is involved in number of illegal activities including creating forge documents, misappropriation of funds and misuse of state resources and the FCID is to file a case against the director board of CSN including Yoshitha Rajapaksa based on the stated charges.
