The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association (LPBOA) say that they will not stop the strike until the 10 bus permits arbitrarily given by the National Transport Commission, are suspended.

Speaking, Gemunu Wijeratne says that a total of 10 permits have been issued for the Galle - Maharagama and Galle - Matara routes and that the LPBOA has requested the chairman of the National Transport Commission to suspend them immediately.
