The agreement has been reached after both parties held several rounds of discussion during the last few months and the MoU on this regard is to be signed in late January 2016.
Meanwhile, sources also say that a representative of Fonseka has also commenced talks with UNP leaders to appoint Fonseka to the MP seat which fell vacant after the demise of M.K.D.S. Gunewardena.
