Speaking with a reporter from 'BBC Sandeshaya' during an event with SLFP trade union activists from Puttalam district, Minister Milroy has said, "It's good if the person is good and vice versa."

He has also emphasised that Executive presidency must be repealed from Sri Lanka and he completely accepts this fact.

The minister has also said that he too is dejected about the party due to fellow party members, who betray others for their own gain.

Nevetheless, Minister Milroy said he would dedicate himself to ensure the victory of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
