Sports minister Dayasiri Jayasekara hinted to the identity of the person during a speech he gave at a dinner for the Sri Lanka junior team participating in the under-19 world cup.

Vishwajith has been introduced to cricketers by bowling coach Anusha Samaranayake, as a bowler for them during practice sessions.

However, he is not a player of any sports club.
