Speaking, military spokesman - Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera stated that all dossiers in the sealed section was handed over to the military police and the measure was to ensure transparency in the ongoing case with regard to the Prageeth Ekneligoda disappearance.
He added that the measure was a part of normal procedure when complying with a court order.
On Monday, the Homagama Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake had ordered the lawyers of the Army to cooperate with the probe and to provide the information required by the CID.
The magistrate had also warned that the Army Commander would be liable to face legal action under the Penal Code if he failed to cooperate with the CID in their investigations.
