In a media release today (07), Arjuna said the claim of the sealing of the office was a falsehood being spread by TUs.

He says the presidential commission has launched an investigation into the financial irregularities in the water filling ceremony at Hambantota port.

The JVP TU is distorting the truth and trying to link the matter to an outside issue of cricket, and engaged in a mud-slinging campaign, says Arjuna.

Sri Lanka Mirror has reported that angry that the SLPA’s head of communication and public relations had not voted in support of Nishantha Ranatunga at the cricket elections, the Ranatunga brothers have sealed his office and started an internal investigation against him.

TUs say the minister might not know, but pictures tell the story of the sealing of the office.
