This is aimed at minimizing the number of Sri Lankans leaving for foreign employment illegally, she said.
Those who are not registered can obtain registration through a relative at divisional secretariats from 08 to 14 of January, said the minister.
Repatriation cost of unregistered Lankans will have to be borne by a relative, she added.
Expatriate workers will also be entitled to scholarships for children, loans for self-employment and housing once get registered.
