All these three clubs in the third division are only nominal, and have two votes at the cricket elections.

He is already a member of the umpires panel of the cricket interim committee and has membership of the umpires association.

A member of the umpires committee cannot officiate at matches, but he secretly does so, reports say.

Furthermore, he is coaching Thurston College, Colombo, of which he is a past pupil, although the cricket constitution bans an employee of a committee from engaging in such activity.

After the umpires association leveled an allegation against him, he had changed his position as cricket coordinator at the school.
