Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe discussed this possibility with his senior advisers at the parliamentary complex yesterday (19).

Meanwhile, several MPs of the joint opposition are to crossover to the government soon, say sources at the president’s office.

These MPs are expected to be offered state ministerial portfolios, which are yet to be decided.
