They charged that the 2016 Budget proposals clipped the rights enjoyed by graduates so far and deprived privileges enjoyed by the entire state sector.
They called on the government to provide solutions to several issues including assigning of duties not doing justice to the degree, deploying development officers as receptionists and depriving the state sector of the pension schema.
Speaking, General secretary of the union - Chandana Sooriyarachchi said that graduate holders had not received any relief that was expected from Budget 2016 and were seriously inconvenienced.
