Testifying recently before the Presidential commission on Disappeared persons at the Point Pedro Divisional Secretariat, the woman has said that her brother was a LTTE member for 19 years and had gone missing after surrendering to the Army on May 17, 2009.

My brother is there in a photograph depicting several persons at a water hole with their hands bound, under the arrest of the Army she says. There are several other relations and acquaintances in that photo as well, she has added.

She says that they might be able to learn of the group's plight if the Army officers who had arrested them could be questioned.
