Palitha Thewarapperuma to be deputy minister!

Kalutara district UNP MP Palitha Thewarapperuma is to be sworn in as deputy minister of provincial councils and local government, says sources at the prime minister’s office.

The swearing-in will take place once president Maithripala Sirisena returns from his ongoing tour of Italy.

Karunaratne Paranawithana, who was the deputy minister of provincial councils and local government, on December 04 took oaths as the deputy minister of parliamentary affairs and media.
