In an interview with ‘Divaina’, Yasara said their affair ended in December 2013, and that it was to Yoshitha that she had first revealed about Fazil Marija, to whom she got engaged recently.

The four year affair did not materialize as their horoscopes did not match, said Yasara, adding that she had never met Wasim Thajudeen, who was a very good friend of her husband.

When internet implicated Yoshitha and her in Thajudeen’s death in 2012, she had wanted to hold a media briefing, by Yoshitha had discouraged her, saying gossip should not be given publicity.

Yasara said she had not met Yoshitha for about a year now, and that he had not sought her help with regard to the allegations against him over the Thajudeen murder.

Marriage in April

The marriage of Yasara and Fazil will take place in April next year, reports say.

Yasara’s birthday is 25 February, and her father is a tele drama director, mother a doctor, younger brother a pilot and the grandfather, the late actor Gamini Fonseka.
