Single lane laws to be strictly enforced in Colombo Featured

The Police Headquarters state that the single lane laws will be strictly implemented along the roads surrounding the City of Colombo from today (Nov. 26).

DIG of Traffic and Road Safety Amarasiri Senaratne stated that the laws will be implemented mainly along the Sri Jayawardenapura road from Jayanthipura to Colombo and that a large number of Police Officers will be deployed along these roads.

Also, the law will be implemented along the the entry points of roads in the city of Colombo.

Legal action will be taken against motorists who violate the single lane law and overtake other vehicles.
