Janaka Bandara Tennakoon bailed

Former Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon was granted bail by the Kandy High Court (HC) today.

He was arrested and remanded in connection with an alleged murder incident which took place in 1999.

The High Court Judge ordered to release Mr. Tennakoon on a surety of Rs. 1 million and a cash bail of Rs. 500,000.

He was ordered to report to the CID every Sunday.
