The measure will come into effect from tomorrow (Nov. 01).

Speaking, General Manager of Railways Wijaya Samarasinghe said that the measure was taken after considering the inconvenience commuters are facing due to beggars.

Railway employees including railway security forces personnel will be deployed to enforce this measure.
