Thajudeen case : Public awaits justice to be done Featured

The CID today (22) informed the judiciary that 31 persons have been questioned so far with regard to the murder of the ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen.

The CID was speaking thus when the case was taken up by Colombo Additional Magistrate - Nishantha Peiris today.

The CID further said that they have received the JMO report as well as the UCSC report with regard to data on Thajudeen's mobile phone.

Speaking, the magistrate said that all state institutions and private companies shared the common responsibility of working to ensure justice.

The magistrate also ordered the police to take swift action as the public awaited justice to be served.

The case will be taken up again on Dec. 10.
