A fine of Rs 250 is to be imposed on these conductors.

This fine has been announced as there are a number of complaints receiving daily to the Road Passenger Transport Authority.

The inspectors have been advised to monitor the manner the conductors behave.

Ranjith has added that about 200 such complaints have received in this regard during the current year.

Those found guilty would be prosecuted immediately and it would not be in relation to the balance but a standard fine of Rs 250 which would be imposed instantly.

The Western Passenger Transport Authority has advised the commuters to complain on the misconduct of the bus crew to telephone number 011 555 9595.
