Though it was promised during the general election that the corruptions will be eliminated, thieves will be captured and a great development programme will be implemented, since the government has failed to fulfill at least one promise several ministers have stated that they have become speechless in front of the voters ,reports 'Sathhanda' newspaper.

The ministers have further emphasized that it is alarming that the judicial procedures are not carried out with regard to the concluded investigations and the thieves joining the new government and acting freely .They have also said that the public has started addressing them as thieves.

Similarly, addressing a meeting in Kandy recently Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka has stated that if the corrupt individuals were not punished he would have to say in public that the Rajapaksas are not corrupt individuals.
