According to the sports act, changing the constitution of an association should have two-third approval of member associations with their signatures.
However, most associations are unaware of content of the SLMCA’s new constitution, and they allege the new administration is bent on retaining all powers under its cronies.
Since the appointment of the new administration last July, the SLMCA governing council met for the first time only yesterday.
Financial and other reports are not given to to member associations as required.
When members questioned the administration about the constitution which gave it unilateral powers, a letter giving the director general of sports had been submitted.
