The Human Rights Commission today (12) ruled that Negombo JMO Rahul Haq has submitted two contradictory and unethical reports with regard to the 17-year-old schoolboy, who had been acquitted by courts over the murder of Seya Sadevmi.
Commission chairman Priyantha Perera and member Nimal Punchihewa decided to summon the JMO to explain himself.
He has submitted one report on September 21 and the other on September 30.
The commission is hearing a complaint filed by Ceylon Teachers’ Union secretary Joseph Stalin.
