The CID has informed this when the Minuwangoda Magistrate Court took up the case today (05).
Jayatillake as well as his brother Dunesh Priyashantha alias 'Kondaya' were produced before courts today.
Jayatillake is the fourth suspect arrested with regard to the case and police had obtained a court order to detain the suspect for 72 hours for questioning.
The magistrate ordered to detain both suspects until Oct. 19 and to subject Jayatillake for a DNA test.
It is also learnt that Jayatillake is to make a statement before the magistrate this afternoon.
The first two individuals arrested as suspects, which included a 17 year old boy, were earlier released after DNA tests found they were not directly involved in the rape and murder of the child.
