They are summoned over nonpayment of outstanding bills to the ITN for propaganda during the Presidential election period. It is said that the ITN is to receive Rs. 115 million.
Former UPFA general secretary Susil Premajayantha was questioned on this matter on Wednesday after former President Mahinda Rajapaksa claimed that the responsibility lay with the party because he was the UPFA general secretary.
