Masan
Masan is a tropical fruit . A special feature of Masan tress grown under a special project of the Agriculture Department is they bear fruits within two to three years after cultivation.
Masan fruit is considered as a heaty fruit.. In size it resembles the local 'Veralu' fruit and tastes of pears.
Although Masan trees were a common sight several years back, now they are rarely seen and it is doubtful as to whether the younger generation has seen this fruit.
