Chairperson Natasha Balendran said that these complaints which have been received over the course of this year include child abuse, depriving children of education and negligence towards children.

She has further stated that measure will be taken to bring the offenders before court following investigations and that compared to the previous year the number of complaints received is relatively low this year.

She also requested the general public to join hands with the NCPA to ensure the safety of children.
