The officer has said this while testifying before the Court No. 09 in Hulftsdorp, Colombo.

The court had taken up the case filed against Dilshan for failing to pay the monthly maintenance fee of Rs. 20,000 and the insurance of his child from his previous marriage.

However, Dilshan's lawyers informed court that their client hasn't earned so much.

In response, the judge has inquired whether Dilshan was not paid for playing in the Bangalore team.

Dilshan's lawyers further said that the plaintiff has published news items in websites, tarnishing the good name of their client.

The case has been filed by Dilshan's former wife - Nilanka Withanage.
