The deadline was given at a special meeting between opposition leaders held at the Kotte Naga Viharaya, last night (16).

Accordingly, the signing of the agreement to field a common candidate too, has been postponed by two days, spokesman for the National Movement for a Just Society  - Dr. Nirmal  Ranjith Dewasiri said.

Yesterday's meeting was held in the view of the decision to field a common candidate being delayed.
