The body was found behind a Boo tree located in the back of Akarangaha temple in close proximity to her house.

The police were yesterday investigating the disappearance of a 4 1/2 year old Sadewmi in Kotadeniyawa.

According to the police a complaint was received that the child had gone missing early last morning (12) while she was sleeping with her parents.

The police said that a search operation had then been launched to locate the child.
