The Russian diplomat has revealed the incident when he had met the minister. In response, the minister has profusely apologised to the diplomat on behalf of all Sri Lankans, reports add.

A video of a man in a BMW who is verbally abusing the Russian diplomat while obstructing the entrance to the carpark is now being circulated in Facebook.

The man is seen shoving the diplomat and verbally abusing him in broken English in front of his wife and child.

It is said the man in the BMW has been identified as one Manjula Wijekoon, who is said to be a friend of Sajin Vass Gunawardena.
