Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said yesterday (07) the shooting had been led by ‘Dematagoda Chaminda’ from his prison cell.

The CID expects to take him into its custody for questioning over the shooting.

‘Dematagoda Chaminda’ is also a suspect in the killing of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.

One Indika had got Sanka to assist in Karunanayake’s election campaign.
