Securing approval to to build charging points for electric cars around the country have become a major issue.

Once charged, an electric car can run unto a maximum of 120 kilometres depending on heavy traffic conditions and air conditioning. If the car's battery runs out of power, there is no alternate option of using fuel or spare batteries.
