The PM notes that speeding vehicles had claimed the lives of several wild animals at wildlife parks recently.
He says the government will mediate to protect national wildlife parks and their bio-diversities.
Speed restrictions will be imposed for vehicles inside national wildlife parks to ensure a safe environment for wild animals, says prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in a posting in his facebook page.
