Several appointments made in Parliament

Several appointments have been made as the 8th Parliament of Sri Lanka commenced its inaugural session today (01).

Thilanga Sumathipala has been appointed as Deputy Speaker while Lakshman Kiriella has been appointed Leader of the House.

Meanwhile, Gayantha Karunatillake has been appointed Chief Government Whip.

Also, S. Adaikalanathan has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Committees.
