Colombo district court judge Harsha Sethunga has issued an interim injunction effective until August 28, allowing Warnapala to carryout functions of his position without let or hindrance.

However, elections chief Mahinda Deshapriya told Sri Lanka Mirror that he was yet to receive any such order from courts.
