The FCID on July 30 sought orders from the Kaduwela magistrate courts to further investigate the assets said to have been earned by ex-MP Namal Rajapaksa through improper means.

The request was made in the course of a hearing pursuant to a complaint by convener of Corruption Watch Wasantha Samarasnghe.

Police requested orders to Helocorp (Pvt.) Ltd. of no. 03, R.A. de Mel Mawatha, Colombo 05, Gowers Corporate Services (Pvt.) Ltd. of no. 15/1, Lake Drive, Subhuthipura, Battaramulla and N.R. Consultants of Carlton, Mahawela Road, Tangalle to provide their particulars, Ravaya reports.
