Dr Ekanayaka leaves his wife Ramya Welagedara, Executive Accountant of Bartleet Company and his brother S. U. B. Ekanayaka, who retired as a teacher of Dharmaraja College, Kandy.
Dr. Ekanayake’s remains lie at his residence at Embilmeegama, Pilimatalawa. Funeral arrangements will be notified later.
Chief Medical Officer of the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drug Corporation (Navinna) Dr. Perakum Ekanayaka passed away in the early hours of yesterday (06) after a brief illness. He was 55 years of age.
