He told Sri Lanka Mirror that two men in a motorcycle had gone to his Ragama home twice and threatened the occupants.
A complaint has been lodged with police, but no suspects have been arrested yet, nor a response received from the IGP and the ministry of public order to a request for protection, he said.
Dr. Samarasinghe said this silent approach by the government would discourage public servants like him who has been campaigning against drug dealers and their presence in politics.
