The Prime minister had urged his secretary to remove these cutouts before nominations are handed over.

Speaking, a spokesperson of the Prime minister's office said that the above orders are given as Mr. Wickremesinghe too, is to contest the General election.

Banners and cutouts displaying the government's progress on the 100-day programme were displayed in the Colombo suburbs and these included the photos of the President and the Prime minister.
